While organizing my school year, I’m compiling a list of must-read books about Abraham Lincoln for homeschoolers. We are starting our school year out with Abraham Lincoln, and going all the way through modern times.
We plan to watch some YouTube videos and documentaries while adding in some lap booking and notebooking. (Customizing my History curriculum has worked so much better for us. I will be creating a post that contains all our homeschool plans for Modern History, too. Be on the lookout!)

Videos are a great way to learn, but I don’t want to forget to add in some great reads throughout the year. I’ve organized this list of books on Abe Lincoln. The links are affiliate links which means if you make a purchase through the link I will receive a small commission at no cost to you. (Read my full disclosure here.)
Under each book I’ve listed the approximate age/ grade level. I’m also going to leave a link at the bottom for some great reads for highschoolers. We’re not quite there yet. (My oldest is a 7th grader.) But, I want to have some ideas on hand for when we get there!
