There is a Pumpkin Handwriting Skills Pack cover sheet you can use if you decide to make the printables into a little packet to be used throughout the Fall months. (To make them into a quick packet, just print off as many copies as you need, and staple along the left hand side or the top.)

The trace the line worksheets will help develop those pre-handwriting skill, and get their hand more steady for writing letters. (You could also use this worksheet for cutting skills if your preschooler needs a little extra practice with the scissors.)

On the handwriting worksheets, you child can trace each solid letter with a marker or highlighter. Then write a few of each letter on the line. Don’t push them to finish the whole thing in one day if they are not ready for it yet. You could do just one line per day for younger preschoolers who may not be ready for a lot of handwriting. (My boys were never fond of handwriting…. they still aren’t at 7 and 10!)
