Rush Revere Books Review: Homeschool History Reads.
Thinking about purchasing some Rush Revere books??? A couple of years ago, my dad bought me the book Rush Revere and The Brave Pilgrims and the audio discs for Rush Revere and the First Patriots.
It took us a little while to get around to reading the first book, but once we did, we loved it! My kids literally begged me to read more chapters each time we read! In this Rush Revere Book Review, I am going to share with you all the reasons we love these books!

Rush Revere Books Review
About the Books
There are 5 books in the Adventures with Rush Revere series.
- Rush Revere and the Brave Pilgrims
- Rush Revere and the First Patriots
- … American Revolution
- … Star-Spangled Banner
- … the Presidency
The Rush Revere series is written by Rush Limbaugh. In these books you follow and his time-traveling horse through their many historical adventures!
Each book is written in an interesting way that is appealing to children. American History facts are weaved throughout as the characters relive history!
These books are books that you will want in your home library. The pictures are awesome and the quality of the books is really good. You are definitely getting your money’s worth when you buy a Rush Revere book.
The books are easy to read and fun to read. Older elementary-aged children could read them on their own.
The chapters are a little bit long, but they don’t feel like it because they keep you interested. (You always want to know what happens next! This is definitely not a dull History series!)
5 Reasons Why I Love Rush Revere Books
We are currently reading Rush Revere and the Star-Spangled Banner.
It’s the 4th book in the series, and it does not disappoint! Rush and a couple of his students travel back in time to witness the signing of the U.S. Constitution.
We checked it out from our local library, and we’ve been reading it for history. I told my 9-year-old son he could pick one book out, and this is the one he wanted!
#1 History Becomes Fun
There is never a dull moment in these books!
The horse Liberty is really funny. My kids are constantly cracking up throughout these books.
The pages of these books are really thick and beautiful. The illustrations are awesome, too!
#4 My Kids Love Them
These are my kids’ favorite books! They love this series, and even my 5-year-old son likes to sit in on these stories. (And he isn’t much for long chapter books!)
You really can’t beat the price for the quality you find in these books!
Where to Get these Books?
My dad purchased these at Barnes and Noble, but you can also find them at Books a Million and Amazon.
